quality

Our
laboratories

Our quality management system, supported by state-of-the-art in-house laboratories, monitors and verifies every component throughout the entire production process.
METROLOGY LABORATORY

Our metrology
laboratory

supports production

Over time, the company has implemented a Metrology Laboratory to perform different types of dimensional inspection in support of production, research, and development activities.

This facility is essential for the production and supply of components for the automotive sector. It ensures compliance with the strict tolerances required by automotive manufacturers, guaranteeing dimensional accuracy, process repeatability, and full conformity to customer specifications.

The laboratory is maintained at a constant temperature of 20°C with controlled humidity and is equipped with contact and optical CMM machines, profilometer, optical microscope, surface roughness tester, hardness tester, and micro-hardness tester.
TESTING LABORATORY

Our testing laboratory:
safety at every stage

Since July 2024, GIDI Meccanica has been equipped with a dedicated testing laboratory, a strategic facility that supports production as well as clients and partners at every stage of the process, from initial design to the finished product.

The laboratory was established to objectively analyze the static and dynamic performance of components, reducing validation times and ensuring even higher quality standards. It is a valuable resource for optimizing internal processes and providing fast, effective solutions to diverse design requirements.
Tests that make the difference

In this dedicated laboratory, we perform essential tests to ensure the performance, durability, and reliability of our components

CUSTOM LIFE-CYCLE TEST

The levers are subjected to a specified load replicating opening and closing movements, simulating real-use conditions. The number of cycles can be configured according to the client’s requirements.

TENSILE TEST

The component undergoes a tensile test to determine its actual mechanical strength.

PROOF OF RESILIENCE

A pendulum (Charpy pendulum) of defined mass strikes individual components, measuring the energy absorbed during fracture to assess the material’s impact resistance.

TEST VALIDATION

A non-destructive test that verifies the integrity of the sample without affecting its functionality.
